Gabrielle Fialkoff, Founder

Gabrielle’s extensive experience working with the nonprofit, philanthropic, government and business communities allows her to provide clients with a unique perspective into the inner workings of other sectors.

Serving as Senior Advisor to Mayor Bill de Blasio from 2014-2018, Gabrielle pioneered a new approach to municipal government and philanthropy by establishing the Office of Strategic Partnerships, one of the first in the nation.  Understanding that government alone could not solve the crisis of inequality—a pledge that brought Mayor de Blasio to office—she established the Office of Strategic Partnerships to bring together the business, nonprofit, and philanthropic communities to create high impact partnerships across an array of issue areas. The office launched signature initiatives such as The Center for Youth Employment, Computer Science for All, Building Healthy Communities and Connections to Care—putting over $420 million of private funds toward combating income inequality.

In her business career, Gabrielle took her fashion company, Haskell Jewels LLC, from an early stage business to the industry leader in its category.  As owner and chief operating officer of a best-in-class fashion business, Gabrielle oversaw all aspects of day-to-day operations, including branding, communications, marketing and human resources and strategically led the business through 12 years of exponential growth, from 10 employees to over 300.

Gabrielle also has extensive experience working on political campaigns, first as a fundraising professional for President and Secretary Clinton and later as the volunteer Finance Chair for Bill de Blasio’s winning mayoral campaign of 2013.

Across all of these experiences, Gabrielle has brought a passion for partnership building and a commitment to improving the lives of New Yorkers.
